Libby by OverDrive is a digital collection that usually works just like a physical library. The first time you use the Libby app, the app will give you a helpful tour to get started. Select an ebook or audiobook and then select ‘Borrow’ or ‘Place Hold’ to add it to your ‘Shelf’.
Once you log into the OverDrive website or set up the Libby app, you can use the search bar to search for items by title, author, or keywords, or you can browse through the several collections on display. Please make sure the Library you chose is for Barrington, NH. You'll be asked to identify your Library, and then enter your valid Barrington Library card number. On the OverDrive website, or within the Libby by OverDrive app, click ‘Sign in using library card’ or 'add a library'. You can view available titles and manage your checkouts by visiting the OverDrive website interface or the Libby by OverDrive website interface on your PC, or by downloading the Libby app to your Android or iOS mobile device. Libby by OverDrive is a library-sponsored service that allows you to borrow and instantly download ebooks and audiobooks. Please note the OverDrive app is discontinued and has been officially replaced by the Libby App as of February 2022.
